Public hearing regarding Forsyth County Alcohol Ordinance this week

November 02, 2009 Forsyth County - The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing in order to consider amending Ordinance No. 68, Forsyth County's Alcohol Ordinance, at the board's regular meeting Nov. 5 at 5 p.m. in the main conference room of the Forsyth County Administration Building.
The purpose of the public hearing shall be for public review and comment concerning proposed modifications to Forsyth County's Alcohol Ordinance, specifically regarding distance measurements for daycares, enhanced sanctions for underage sales, a special event 'cash bar' permit, the creation of an Alcohol Sales Permit for servers and cashiers, and the exemption of marinas from the 50 percent food requirement, and other matters.
All Forsyth County residents and any other affected and/or interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend.
