4th Annual North Atlanta Christmas Festival
|
November 02, 2009 Those who spend Christmas in North Atlanta have no further to look than the surrounding communities for special events to celebrate the spirit of the season. One event that is growing in popularity and quickly becoming a "can't-miss" event is the North Atlanta Christmas Festival. A full-scale musical tribute to this most celebrated season, the North Atlanta Christmas Festival incorporates music and theater to bring the best of Christmas songs together with a dramatic presentation of the birth of Jesus.
An event that began four years ago, the North Atlanta Christmas Festival (NACF) is spearheaded by Mount Pisgah Church and was created to bring an unparalleled Christmas experience to members of the community and their families. The event has already become a tradition for many and it's easy to see why. The 2009 NACF features the 150-voice Mount Pisgah Worship Choir, a magnificent 40-piece orchestra, and a special appearance by the Georgia Tech Drum Corps. Set to a brand new musical score and eye-popping special effects, the 2009 North Atlanta Christmas Festival is truly holiday treat for the entire family and people of all ages.
Leading this celebratory, show-stopping performance event, which to date has had thousands in attendance, is Mount Pisgah's Music and Worship Pastor, Reverend Scott Harlow. Rev. Harlow grew up in Marietta and attended Charleston Southern University. He has directed nationally touring choirs and his seasonal events, like the North Atlanta Christmas Festival, have been seen around the country.
The 2009 North Atlanta Christmas Festival will take place December 11, 12, and 13 with show times at 7:00 p.m. each day and a 3:00 matinee on Saturday. Tickets range between $5.00 and $10.00 depending on available seating. To get the best seats, order early. Tickets for this year's event can be ordered by visiting www.NACFonline.com.
The event takes place at Mount Pisgah's North Campus location at 2850 Old Alabama Road in Johns Creek. For more information about the North Atlanta Christmas Festival visit their website at www.NACFonline.com.
