A gourmet chef, a mad scientists, Nintendo's Mario the plumber, a pirate, a princess, a zebra, an early visit from Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and plenty of other costumes transformed horses normally found training for shows.
Approximately 300 people, including students and their families, got together for the part. It kicked off with a parade into and around the show ring on the property, and concluded with a picnic.
Where might you find a 1000-pound Gourmet Chef, a Mad Scientist, Horses dressed up as Nintendo Characters- Mario, Luigi, and Princess Daisy, a Pirate, a Zebra, Rudolph, a Hawaiian Surfer Dude and a Famous Hollywood Actress? These and more characters can be found at The Equestrian Reserve where the horses and stalls were decorated this Halloween.
Donna Romeu, owner of the facility stressed the educational aspect of horsemanship. The program includes riding lessons in both English Huntseat and Western pleasure, using clinics, day camps and classes on horse management skills.
