Amana first graders bake for flood victims
|
October 28, 2009 First graders from Amana Academy held a bake sale Oct. 22 and 23 at their school in Alpharetta to raise money for local victims of the late September floods. The effort was part of an "expedition," or lesson, on heroes.
Here, fellow first graders pick out their favorite treats during their lunch time.
All money from the bake sale goes to North Fulton Community Charities, which is helping local flood victims.
