Katie Lynne Wyman and Ryan McKnight Padgett were united in marriage June 20, 2009 at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Norcross. The Reverend Landa Larson
officiated.
Music was provided by organist Will Beaumont and Solo by Carly Salas and Major Ed Tomlinson, cousins of the bride. Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at The Hilton Northeast.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald H. Wyman of Johns Creek.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Lori Padgett and Mr. Trey Padgett of Tucker.
Mrs. Padgett will graduate in 2010 with a degree in early childhood education and is currently employed at Extension Express.
Mr. Padgett is a police officer for the City of Decatur.
Mrs. Courtney Watson, friend of the bride, was Matron of Honor.
Miss Desi Williams, friend of the bride, and Jennifer Wyman, sister of the bride, were the Maids of Honor. Bridesmaids were: Jana Ballard, cousin of the bride; Ashleigh Glass, friend of the bride; Erica Cutts, friend of the bride; Jessica Wade, friend of the bride; Tami Ennis, friend of the bride; Julia Padgett, sister-in-law of the bride; and Keke Hill, friend of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Sara Glass, friend of the bride. Flower girls were Mikaya Wheaton and Avery Kirby.
The grooms father , Mr. Trey Padgett, served as best man. Groomsmen were: Jonathan Wyman, brother of the bride; Chris and Jeremy Padgett, brothers of the groom; BJ Clive, friend of the groom; David Sanders, friend of the groom; Matt Wade, friend of the groom; Dave and Hoyt Glass, friends of the groom; Chan Morris, cousin of the groom; and Gavin MaGill, Ring Bearer.
They are residing in Tucker following a honeymoon cruise to the Western Caribbean.
