The Alpharetta Ambush U11 Boys Red team recently won the prestigious Atlanta Cup Soccer tournament.
Playing in the Cup Division, the team beat the ASA Extreme Elite 3-1 and the East Ridge Express from Tennessee 10-0. After beating the CUFC Arsenal from North Carolina 2-0, the team proceeded to the championship game against the #2 team in the nation, BUSA South Blue from Alabama.
Since the game was tied 3-3 after overtime, the game was decided on penalty kicks. The Ambush team emerged victorious with a 4-3 win over BUSA.
