JOHNS CREEK – It was a ladies' evening out in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Emory Johns Creek Hospital's new breast center Oct. 22, as the hospital hosted its third annual Ladies Night Out.
The event featured free glucose, cholesterol, blood pressure and bone density screenings as well as vendors and medical professionals on hand to answer questions from more than 140 registrants.
Emory Johns Creek Hospital now offers its patients the newest technology in breast biopsy techniques, through magnetic resonance guided biopsies. Performing a breast biopsy in real-time, guided by magnetic resonance imaging is an important advance in the diagnosis of breast cancer.
