The club installed a new irrigation system, expanded and redesigned some of the tee boxes and installed drought-resistant Zoysia Grass.
The golf course stayed open during the renovation, said Melissa Furbish, director of sales and marketing for St. Ives.
"While some clubs are struggling financially, we're in great shape," said Furbish, who added that St. Ives has about 620 members. "We have a phenomenal program here."
Furbish said St. Ives has been active in the community and recently became Chairman's Circle members of the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce.
"We need to give back to the community as much as we can and we're getting more involved with that," said John Gerdts, COO of St. Ives.
