October 20, 2009 FORSYTH COUNTY – Local Business people can hear about healthcare in Forsyth as the Cumming-Forsyth Chamber of Commerce hosts "State of Healthcare in Forsyth County: A Healthcare Summit" on Thursday, Nov. 5.
Dr. Bill Custer will discuss the state of healthcare in Forsyth County, the effects that the Obama Administration will likely have on healthcare and the related health policy options, how these changes will impact Forsyth County.
As hospitals are facing narrowing credit markets, physicians are watching reimbursement dwindle, and other firms contributing to the improvement of healthcare in the United States are watching their margins fade, the current financial situation is having real effects on healthcare providers, patients, and communities.
