Mr. and Mrs. David Carter of Alpharetta proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathrine Leigh, to Jayson Davis Russell, son of Lynn Nash of Woodstock and Jay Russell of Lagrange.
Leigh and Russell are both graduates of Valdosta State University and are both currently employed by Tift County Schools in Tifton. Russell is also a football and track coach for the Tift County Blue Devils and Leigh is a swim coach for the Tift Area Tidalwaves.
The wedding is planned for Jan. 2, 2010, at Decatur First United Methodist Chapel on Sycamore in Decatur.
