Ms. Cynthia Marie Marshall of Roswell and Mr. Clifton Marshall of Atlanta are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Katrina Michelle Marshall to Lyord Watson, Jr.
Marshall is a 2002 graduate of Roswell High School where she served as President of the Student Body. She graduated from Washington University in Saint Louis and is currently employed with the University of Alabama at Birmingham as a Major Gifts Officer.
Watson is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lyord Watson, Sr. of Brewton, AL. He is a 2001 graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. A member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Watson is currently seeking a Masters of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School of Samford University.
Watson has purchased a home in Birmingham, Alabama where he and Marshall will reside following a December 2009 wedding.
