Chattahoochee wins state championship

Chattahoochee High School's Lady Cougars lacrosse team beat the Milton High School Eagles in Georgia High School Lacrosse State Championship game at Milton Stadium.
Chattahoochee had the lead throughout the game against the four-time state champions and ended with a 9-7 win. Chattahoochee held the first in state position throughout the season and had a record seven players make All State teams with two honorable mentions.The new state champs were coached by Jack McIlvain, Dennis Fink and Jillian Difazio. The players are: Lindsay Brinker, Hailey Lindley, Alexis Nesselroad, Kristin Piche, Daniella Blackard, Michelle Place,Bailey Borchers (C), Hannah Ramsahai, Carli Perleberg, Meghan Donovan, Carolyn Whalen, Kathryn Brady, Danielle Heady, Kelly Arnhart C), Candace Ellery, Sarah Eick, Lanie Dinardo, Maddie Fink (C), Erin Flagg, Katie Wingrove, Amelia Clare Pierce, Haley Keith, Emma Goodnow, Natalie Meintjes, and Victoria Shiman.
