Mr. and Mrs. William M. Maloney of Johns Creek recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a party surrounded by family and friends at Rivermont Country Club, Roswell, where they have been members since 1986.
The couple was married Aug. 2, 1953, in Gesu Catholic Church, Detroit, Mich., by Father Norbert Huetter.
Maloney, son of the late William and Catherine Maloney, is retired. His wife, Mary Jill, daughter of the late Huge and Teresa Dilworth, is also retired. They have five children: Peter, husband of Sharon, Woodstock; Julie, wife of Craig Hermansen, Lawrenceville; Michael, Johns Creek; Daniel, husband of Wendy, Kenner, La.; and James, husband of Wanda, Winston-Salem, N.C.
In addition, they have 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
