CUMMING, Ga. — Lenny's Subs will open a new location near Baldridge Marina at Lake Lanier.
Lenny's Subs owner Bruce Longmore said he has been coming to Lake Lanier for 30 years.
"There's this deli sandwich shop located at Baldridge Marina, and I've been trying to get a Lenny's there for quite some time," Longmore said. "It finally came open this year."
The new location will take over the former Dockside Sandwich Company at 1850 Bald Ridge Marina Road.
This will mark Longmore's third Lenny's location.
He owns locations in Alpharetta and Cumming at Market Place Boulevard.
Longmore said he hopes to open by early May. This will be a conventional Lenny's Subs, meaning that they will hold regular hours and at some point begin delivering to the south end of the lake.
Longmore said another benefit he has is that he can pull staff from other locations when business is expected to increase, such as on the Fourth of July.
"We live on Lake Lanier and we're very passionate about the lake," Longmore said. "We expect to have a thriving business over there."
