ROSWELL, Ga. The new General Motors IT center, which was recently announced to be placed in Roswell, is hiring.
"We've already started hiring for jobs at the Roswell Innovation Center and are making good progress," said Juli Huston-Rough, a spokeswoman for GM. "We plan to hire 1,000 employees to staff the Roswell center."
Huston-Rough said the company is looking for software developers, database administrators and system analysts.
The IT department develops and supports internal end-user applications and systems, dealer systems, manufacturing systems and vehicle technology. The Roswell facility is one of three the company is opening across the country. The other two are in Warren, Mich. and Austin, Texas.
