ROSWELL, Ga. – The Centennial Knights defeated a Forsyth opponent for the third straight week, scoring a 27-9 victory at home last Friday night over North Forsyth.
The Knights are 3-2 in Region 6-AAAAAA and 3-5 overall with games Friday at Alpharetta and a home game next Thursday against Chattahoochee.
Even if the Knights lose to Alpharetta, they will likely earn the region's fourth playoff berth if they defeat Chattahoochee.
Centennial quarterback Chase Rosenberg passed for 325 yards and three touchdowns, two to Christian Robinson. A 5-yard TD catch by Robinson put the Knights ahead 10-3, and he caught a 9-yard scoring pass to make it 20-9.
Rosenberg's 9-yard pass to freshman Caden Herring closed out the scoring for the Knights, who also got field goals of 37 and 30 yards from Devin O'Neill.
