FULTON COUNTY - On Friday, Jan. 11, 2013, Dr. Roderick Edmond, Chairman of the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections, submitted his resignation to the Chairman of the Fulton County Board of Commissioners. His resignation takes effect immediately upon designation of a replacement.
"I am grateful for Dr. Edmond's leadership and service to the citizens of Fulton County. I know that he will continue to make positive contributions in our community," said Fulton County Chairman John H. Eaves. "A change in leadership at this time presents an opportunity to make a fresh start as we continue to address challenges in our Registration and Elections department. We will immediately begin working to identify a replacement."
