Brandon Beach wins senate race

NORTH FULTON, Ga. - Brandon Beach has won the contest for State Senate seat for District 21, and will fill the vacated seat of Senator Chip Rogers.

As of 9:30 p.m. Jan. 8, the results are as follows:

Cherokee County results, with 100% reporting

Brandon Beach 51.75% 3,925

Sean Jerguson 48.25% 3,660

Fulton County results, with 100% reporting

Brandon Beach 80.30% 1,545

Sean Jerguson 19.28% 371

In total, Beach leads 57.57% to 42.43%.
