CENSUS GLIMPSE: Stuck in a traffic jam

FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — New data from the U.S. Census Bureau show that commute times are getting longer for Forsyth County residents.

According to the 2011 American Community Survey (ACS), the average commute time rose from 30.1 minutes in 2010 to 32.3 minutes in 2011.

In addition, the percentage of Forsyth County commuters with commute times of 30 minutes or longer rose from 45.7 percent in 2010 to 52.4 percent in 2011.
