January 03, 2012 CUMMING, Ga. — Being first can have its rewards.
Blanca Aparicio-Granados and Mariano Figueroa of Cumming have welcomed the first baby born at Northside Hospital-Forsyth in Cumming on New Year's Day 2012.
Jayro Figueroa was born at 6:03 a.m. at 9 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 21 inches long.
This is the third child for the couple.
In celebration of the event, the hospital gave the family a giant diaper cake and the Northside Hospital-Forsyth Auxiliary donated an "It's a Boy" gift basket and balloons. Our365, the hospital's newborn photography service, also donated a gift certificate for a free photo package. View images.
