ALPHARETTA, Ga. — Bridgeway Church will host a concert Dec. 16 featuring recording artist, The Museum, to benefit the Not for Sale campaign.
The concert will begin with Christmas music. Soon after, there will be a brief presentation on the Not for Sale campaign.
It will end with a concert by The Museum. The event will close with a call to action and an opportunity for the audience to give and partner with Not for Sale.
The Not for Sale campaign is engaged in fighting human trafficking and modern-day slavery. Not for Sale fights human trafficking and modern-day slavery around the world, seeking to provide freedom to the over 27 million people in bondage. Through international work on the ground and in mainstream supply chains, they proactively target the root causes of slavery while engaging and equipping the movement for freedom.
It all started in 2007 when David Batstone discovered that his favorite Bay-area restaurant had been the center of a local human trafficking ring. After further investigation, he realized this was part of a growing international issue spanning every industry and corner of the earth. His concern in these issues gave rise to the publishing of his book "Not for Sale" and an organization of the same name that was geared toward exposing that human trafficking happens all over the world and needs to be stopped.
There is no charge for the event, but seats must be reserved at free2give.eventbrite.com.
Doors will open at 5:45 p.m. and the program will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a concert of acoustic Christmas music.
Bridgeway Church is located at 4755 Kimball Bridge Road, Alpharetta.
