Johns Creek United Methodist sets Mission Fair date

Nov. 30, Dec. 1, 2

November 15, 2012
JOHNS CREEK, Ga. Johns Creek United Methodist Church announced its annual Christmas Gift and Mission Fair will be held Friday through Sunday, Nov. 30, Dec. 1 and 2.

This will be a wonderful opportunity for holiday shopping as an alternative to the overcrowded malls. "Giving with a Purpose" is the heartfelt sentiment of the church to support missions. There will be ministries from and supported by Johns Creek UMC offering items such as homemade baked goods, handcrafted jewelry, candles, holiday décor, fair trade goods galore and more.

Some of the ministries represented include Foster Care Support Foundation, Rehab Ropes, Heifer International, North Georgia United Methodist Housing and Homeless Council, Refugee Sewing Society, Wesley Woods geriatric center, Murphy Harpst Children's Home and many more.

All of the proceeds support both local and global missions.

The Johns Creek Christmas Gift and Mission Fair "Giving with a Purpose" will take place Nov. 30 from 9 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.; Dec. 1 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.; and Dec. 2 from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. (before, during and after the Sunday school hour and late worship service).
