April 13, 2014ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Cogburn Woods Elementary student Jack Burke has a genetic disorder called neurofibromatosis, which can cause the growth of tumors on nerve tissue and affect many parts of the body, including the brain, spinal cord, nerves, skin and other body systems. Burke is undergoing 52 weeks of chemotherapy treatments. To show their support, students and staff wore their Cure NF shirts on Thursdays and Fridays.
