JOHNS CREEK, Ga. — Johns Creek High School senior Emily Ranzau will be attending the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., on a swimming scholarship.

Ranzau has been swimming competitively for 12 years, with four of them at Johns Creek High School.

She qualified for the 2012 Olympic trials in 200-meter backstroke and is the record holder in the 200-meter free, 500-meter free and 100-meter backstroke.
