October 29, 2013FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Two Men and a Truck has partnered with local schools to host a warm clothing collection drive to help local people in need.
The Key Club at Northview High School in Johns Creek and the fifth-graders at Settles Bridge Elementary School in Suwanee are running the "Truckload of Warmth" drive to collect warm clothing items at their schools.
Members of the community can help by collecting new and gently used winter items from friends, family, neighbors or personal closets. Items can be brought to Two Men and a Truck, 1640 McFarland 400 Drive, Alpharetta.
All new or gently used winter clothing items are welcome. The collection will benefit men, women and children of all sizes. The most needed items are coats, windbreakers, sweaters, sweatshirts, hats, scarves, gloves, socks, boots and blankets.
Donations will be delivered to Forsyth County Family Haven right before Thanksgiving.
