JOHNS CREEK, Ga. – Mount Pisgah Christian School had an amazing 14 seniors in 2013 commit to playing college athletics at an impressive list of schools.
"We're extremely proud of these fourteen graduates and happy to see how their hard work and commitment has paid off," said Blake Davenport, Pisgah's athletic director. "It's a real blessing to be part of a school that is helping develop and prepare such great student athletes at an incredible rate."
Last year 18 percent of the graduating class went on to play a college sport this year. The Class of 2013 topped that with 23 percent – almost one in four – of the senior class will continue to compete in college.
" I'm fortunate to be able to see how each of our great coaches develop all our student athletes for life after high school, whether playing in college is part of the journey or not," Davenport said.
