JOHNS CREEK, GA. Backpacks on students are as ubiquitous as Stetson hats on cowboys, but for many students it is a luxury their parents cannot afford.

Natalie Johnson and Kathryn Speese are two Johns Creek High School students who decided that was a problem they could help remedy. They started their own charity Pack-A-Backpack.

They collected and donated backpacks filled with school supplies to disadvantaged students in Fulton County. They donated 10 filled backpacks recently to Wilson Creek ES students with a need.
