May 21, 2013ROSWELL, Ga. — Fellowship Christian School participated May 2 in the observance of the National Day of Prayer sponsored by Raise His Praise Worship Center at Roswell City Hall.
FCS K4, K5 and pre-1 students sang "America the Beautiful" and "God Bless America" and recited a portion of the Declaration of Independence. Sydney Herring, Katie McCrory and Sarah Finch, the FCS high school girls' trio, sang "The Star Spangled Banner."
Fellowship Board member Ron Haigler prayed for the Roswell business community and those employed by Roswell businesses.
There were several honored guests at the event, including Roswell Mayor Jere Wood, WSB-Channel 2 reporter Mark Winne and state Sen. Brandon Beach.
