January 08, 2013 CUMMING, Ga. — The Acting Troupe of Lambert High School presents "13 The Musical," based on the book by Dan Elish and Robert Horn with music and lyrics by Jason Robert Brown.
The musical performances take place at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Jan. 17 and 18, and on Saturday, Jan. 19 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
| |  | | | |  | | The Acting Troupe rehearses a scene for “13 The Musical.” (click for larger version) | "13 The Musical" is under the direction of Ryan Wason, Lambert's musical director and Lisa Sherouse-Riley, Lambert's community director.
The musical revolves around a 12-year-old Jewish boy, Evan Goldman, who is exiled from New York to Indiana, which he thinks is the lamest place on earth. He tries to entice all the cool children in school to attend his bar mitzvah.
The show is family friendly and appropriate for middle school students.
Lambert High School auditorium is at 805 Nichols Road in Suwanee.

At the door, tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students.
