December 12, 2012 ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Northwestern Middle School student Kelly Vestal will be celebrating a special birthday Dec. 12, 2012 – her 12th.
"It's going to be my golden birthday," Kelly said.
Kelly and her family have been eagerly awaiting this birthday for 12 years.
"I think she is pretty special, and this date is a wonderful day for her," said Kelly's mother, Ginnie Vestal. "We have been waiting for this year since she was born. We knew that it was meant to be a great day."
Dec. 12, 2012 falls on a school night, so Kelly will celebrate with a dinner with her family. The weekend after her birthday, Kelly and her friends are looking forward to a spa treatment, photo shoot, dinner and sleepover. They might dress up the Vestals' two toy poodles or play with Kelly's birthday present, a white lop-eared bunny named Coconut. View images.
