JOHNS CREEK, Ga. Woodward North sixth-grader Samantha Humphrey has competed in seven career triathlons. She recently competed in her fourth IronKids event, finishing 12th in her division.
With her strong finish, Humphrey helped her team Multisport Explosion an Alpharetta-based youth triathlon team to a first-place finish overall.
Last weekend, Humphrey finished sixth in the 11-12-year-old division of the Tri for Tourettes, a triathlon raising awareness and funding for Camp Twist and Shout at Camp Twin Lakes.
She was the third place finisher for 11-year-olds.
