MILTON, Ga. – Cambridge High School senior Tori Bentley signed a national letter of intent Nov. 16 to ride on the hunt seat equestrian team at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kan. Kansas State is a member of the Big 12 Conference and is currently ranked fifth in the nation among NCAA equestrian programs. Bentley has been a lifelong equestrian and has been trained by Sunny Stevens from Stevehaven Stables. Recently, she qualified and participated in the USHJA Emerging Athletes Program, the USEF Pessoa Hunt Seat Medal Finals in Harrisburg, Pa. and the USET Talent Search Finals in Gladstone, N.J., where she earned a bronze medal of distinction. Bentley was awarded both athletic and academic accommodations from Kansas State University, where she will attend in the fall of 2013.
