Students in Cumming decorate bags for military service members

CUMMING, Ga. — To honor our service men and women for Veterans Day, Kelly Mill Elementary fifth-graders decorated bags and wrote letters of gratitude for the United Services Organizations (USO) of Georgia.
The USO is a nonprofit organization that has been providing support to military personnel and their families since 1941.
The decorated bags and letters will be included in a care package given to service members at their time of deployment.
This service project is a way in which the fifth-grade class can give back to their community while learning to "lead by example" as the first graduating class at Kelly Mill Elementary.
