June 11, 2014ALPHARETTA, Ga. – A possibly honest drunk driver was arrested May 29.
A 911 call came in about a possible drunk driver on Ga. 400 near Haynes Bridge Road. Police saw the suspect car, a Mustang, swerve onto the grass and nearly strike a police car.
When the officer approached the car, the driver, Ashley Beth Farrell, 24, of Cumming, told the officer, "Thank God you are here, officer. I was so scared because of how much I drank and should not be driving."
Farrell was put through sobriety tests, which she failed. She was arrested for DUI and failure to maintain lane.
