Evicted Milton renter takes everything

April 19, 2014
MILTON, Ga. A renter allegedly stole more than $10,000 in furniture from an apartment from which he had been evicted.

The victim, a relocation company in Florida, told Milton Police that one of their renters had not paid rent on a fully furnished apartment in six months. He was evicted. Afterward, the company checked the apartment and found it devoid of furniture, which had come with it.

The company alleges the renter had taken the items when he left, April 3.

Taken were dressers, nightstands, lamps, chairs, TVs, pictures and a bed, all valued at $10,518.
