February 22, 2014CUMMING, Ga. — A pawnshop that closed due to bad weather really upset a customer.
According to Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report, an employee of Eagle Pawn Shop, 699 Atlanta Highway, told deputies he went to the shop at about 9 a.m. Feb. 11 to display a sign on the door that the shop would be closed that day due to the weather.
As the employee placed the sign on the door, a man approached and said he wanted to claim a ring he had pawned.
The man said he was leaving to go to Miami and needed to pick up the ring.
The employee said they were closed and told the man to mail the money, so he could mail him the ring in Miami.
The man became agitated and told the employee to let him in to get his ring. The employee again said they were closed.
The man started to turn away, but came back and allegedly said he would get a gun, come back and shoot the employee, his car and his store.
Then, the man got into his car, a grayish/gold Honda or Toyota sedan, and left the area.
