Two Alpharetta women try to steal lunch and phone cases

MILTON, Ga. – Two women were arrested Nov. 17 after allegedly stealing their lunch along with two iPhone cases.

Employees of the Walmart on Windward Parkway told police they spotted Sue G. Gray, 55, of Sugar Hill, and Jeanette Whitfield, 47, of Jones Bridge Road, Alpharetta, select the phone cases, two drinks and some food items from the deli and place them in a shopping cart. The items were then covered by a coat. The women allegedly tried to leave the store without paying for them.

Both were charged with shoplifting.
