ALPHARETTA, Ga. When the court tells you not to drive, it's best to follow the order. A Sandy Springs woman found this out Sept. 5 when she was arrested for contempt of court.
According to police, Porchia Sade Cunningham, 26, of Sandy Springs, was at the Alpharetta Courthouse to have her license suspended. She was told several times not to drive away after her hearing. When she was finished in the court, she allegedly walked to her car and drove away. A court officer who was watching her immediately followed and arrested her for driving on a suspended license and contempt of court.
