FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — Someone broke into a Dunkin Donuts and stole about $1,000 in cash, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.
On May 26, employees of the Dunkin Donuts, 7810 McGinnis Ferry Road, walked into the store and noticed the power was off. One employee walked to the back of the store and turned the main power switch back on.
When the lights came on, they saw two cash drawers ripped open and the cash missing.
Deputies said the video surveillance showed a blue/green Chevrolet Blazer drive by the store at 2:20 a.m. and turn around to make a second pass.
About a minute later, a person was seen standing by the power switch. At 2:21 a.m., the power died and the cameras were disabled.
Deputies said the suspect pried open the side drive-through window and entered the building.
