CUMMING, Ga. — A woman was scammed out of $4,700 by a man she met on a dating website, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.

On May 20, a woman told deputies she met a man who goes by the name of "William Joseph Schlitz," "Billy Simmons," "William Simmons" and "Billy Dunn" on an online dating website.

When they met for coffee, he cried and said he was homeless and had no food. He said he needed money and that he would pay her back with his 401K. She gave him money from April 4 to May 14.

The woman said she realized she was being scammed and that he was not going to pay her back. Since May 15, the man has not contacted her again and hasn't answered her calls.

The woman said she looked up the man online (www.ripoffreport.com) and found other women who have said he is a fraud.
