CUMMING, Ga. — Someone damaged mailboxes, broke into cars and spray painted obscenities on the road in Timberland Heights and Golden Ridge subdivisions, according to Forsyth County Sheriff's incident reports.
A man who lived on the corner of Timberland Drive and Cactus Lane told deputies May 25 his daughter's car and his mailbox were damaged.
When deputies arrived, they saw a racial slur spray painted on the road. Deputies said what appeared to be kerosene was poured on the road in the shape of a noose. Beside the noose, vandals had spray painted a hanging tree.
Deputies also found a clear plastic bag with frozen fish along with spray cans and a fire extinguisher.
About 15 mailboxes were also vandalized in the two subdivisions.
