May 13, 2013CUMMING, Ga. — A man was robbed while he helped a woman with car troubles, according to a Forsyth County Sherriff's incident report.
On May 3, a man pulled over on Mathis Airport Road to help a woman with a "broken down" Lexus hardtop convertible.
The man said he looked under the hood of her car and got inside the car to try to start it, but with no success.
The man said he walked back to his car to get his cellphone when he felt a poke in his back, which he believed to be a gun, and heard a male voice say, "Give me all you have."
The man handed over his wallet and an envelope with $4,000 and was instructed to get down on his knees. He was told to face away from the suspect's car and not to move until the suspect was gone.
After the car drove away, the man said he turned to see a "Tag applied for" sign for a license plate.
The woman was described as having a small frame and blond hair, wearing a light blue skirt and sweater. The male suspect was 6 feet tall, heavy set, wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans.
