CUMMING, Ga. — A woman informed authorities that someone used her personal information to open an online account with the Social Security Administration.

According to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report, a woman told deputies April 29 that she received a letter from the Social Security Administration advising her of the benefits of using her new online services.

The woman said she called the Social Security Administration office to ask about the letter and they told her someone used her information to set up the account. She said she has not noticed any fraudulent activity through credit bureaus.
