Car owner awakens to slashed tires

April 28, 2013
CUMMING, Ga. — A subdivision owner, with the primary job of cutting off the water supply to residents with delinquent payments, awoke April 19 to find three slashed tires on his car, according to a Forsyth County Sheriff's incident report.

At 8 a.m., the subdivision owner off Continental Trail called the police and reported three slashed tires, one of which appeared to have blown out the sidewall in the area of a cut.

The man told deputies that he and his wife both heard a loud boom at 9 p.m., which the man now believes to have been the sidewall of the driver's side tire exploding when it was cut.
