April 23, 2013
ALPHARETTA, Ga. A Roswell woman allegedly driving under the influence of drugs April 5 sideswiped a police car on Ga. 400.

A 911 call came in to police at 2:38 p.m. that a vehicle was driving erratically on Ga. 400 northbound. An officer spotted the suspect vehicle near the Haynes Bridge Road exit. The vehicle swerved into the emergency lane enough that it hit the officer's patrol car and continued driving.

The officer caught up with the vehicle, driven by Lisa A. Taylor, 48, of Sentinae Chase Drive, Roswell, who allegedly appeared under the influence of prescription drugs. She claimed she swerved because she was looking for her cellphone charger.

Taylor was charged with DUI-drugs, failure to maintain lane and hit and run.
