ALPHARETTA, Ga. An Alpharetta man was shot and killed Thursday, April 18. His wife has been charged with his murder.

At 6:24 p.m., Alpharetta 911 received a call stating Brian Pugh, 52, was unconscious at a residence on Serenity Court, in the Thornberry neighborhood off Haynes Bridge Road. Police and fire arrived within minutes of the call and found Pugh with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to North Fulton Hospital where he later died of his injuries.

Pugh's ex-wife, Jennifer, 48, was arrested and charged with his death and is currently in Fulton County Jail without bond.

"Information gathered as part of the investigation quickly identified her as responsible," said George Gordon, spokesman for Alpharetta public safety.

Jennifer was not at the scene when police arrived and a motive has not yet been determined. It is unclear who called police.

She was found by Roswell police at almost 7 p.m. at a Stonewyck Place home when her sister called police stating Jennifer was threatening suicide after killing her ex-husband. Police arrived and arrested her without incident.
