Milton Firehouse Subs burglary may be inside job

April 08, 2013
MILTON, Ga. – The Firehouse Subs on Ga. 9 was burglarized March 25 by someone who evidently had a key to the business and knew the passcode for the security alarm and safe.

Employees opened the store the next morning and found $1,407 missing from the safe. A search of the security cameras showed a suspect wearing all black, white gloves and holding an umbrella over his head use a key to open the front door, turn off the alarm and open the safe. The thief took the money from the safe then locked the front door and left through the rear.

The manager suspects a former employee who was recently fired and had access to a store key and knew the security codes.
