Purse stolen from car in Forsyth County

April 08, 2013
CUMMING, Ga. — A woman's purse was stolen from her car while she ate dinner, according to a Cumming Police incident report.

At 8 p.m. March 29, a couple dining at Longhorn Steakhouse, 925 Market Place Boulevard, walked out to their 2009 Chevrolet Silverado and noticed damage to the driver side door. When they opened the truck, the woman discovered her purse was missing.

The purse contained $300 cash, several gift cards and her social security card.

The thief used a screwdriver to pry the door's lock, but there were no fingerprints on the truck.

The purse and its contents were valued at $805. The damage to the Silverado was $250.
