Gas stolen from Forsyth woman's car

April 01, 2013
FORSYTH COUNTY, Ga. — A thief took almost a quarter-tank of gasoline from a woman's sport utility vehicle.

At 8 p.m. March 19, a woman in the 3400 block of Camellia Lane told Forsyth County Sheriff deputies she parked her 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe in her driveway and it had a quarter-tank of gasoline in it.

When she returned to her car at 8 a.m. March 20, the victim said the Tahoe was almost completely out of gas.

The woman said her husband also noticed his Toyota 4Runner was low on gas, but he didn't know how much fuel he had in the car the night before.

The victim requested extra patrol to their Suwanee subdivision because the same thing happened to one of her neighbors, she said.
