March 18, 2013MILTON, Ga. – Window tint on a car resulted in two men taken into custody March 9, after it was discovered they had warrants out for their arrest.
A police officer stopped the suspect car on Webb Road after noticing the window tint appeared too dark under the law. Checking the identification of the driver, Brian John Williams, 29, of Tucker, and the passenger, Christopher G. Carson, 33, of Atlanta, both had outstanding warrants for their arrest.
A search of the car turned up a duffel bag containing a plastic bag filled with 4 ounces of suspected marijuana. Both suspects denied it was theirs.
A search of Williams' cellphone history turned up several texts between the two men about meeting up to buy pot.
Williams was charged with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute, driving on a suspended license and window tint violation. Carson was charged with possession of marijuana.
